Tornado volunteer work days

Are you looking to help with tornado clean up efforts? We are looking for volunteers to help with two upcoming clean up up days – Saturday, October 22 and Saturday, November 5. 

Volunteers will assist in picking up debris along the tornado path on Yorktown Road. Debris might include trash, tree limbs, sticks, and building materials. Volunteers should be prepared to walk and be on their feet for the entire shift.

Check-in Location:
A tent will be located at Prairie Creek Elementary, in the parking lot for volunteers to check-in at. Please arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to your shift for checking in.

Interested in signing up? Here are the steps to take:

1. Visit http://unitedwayplains.galaxydigital.com/

2. Click “View all agencies” and search for the “City of Andover” 

3. Choose which date you would like to volunteer for.

4. Click “Respond”

5. Enter your contact information and from there, you should be good to go!
