Former Circle High School standout Sydney Herbert played on Friday, May 9 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Friday, May 9, former Circle High School standout Sydney Herbert’s current collegiate team the Augustana Vikings won 4-2 against the Southern Arkansas Lady Muleriders in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Dawson Field at the Mulerider Softball Complex at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Southern Arkansas Lady Muleriders in the tournament.

The Augustana Vikings’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 1 p.m. at Dawson Field at the Mulerider Softball Complex.
