Sunday, Feb. 23: Andover Central High School standout Matthew Buffington’s college team loses to Georgia Southern Eagles

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Andover Central High School standout Matthew Buffington’s current college team, the South Florida Bulls, lost 9-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgia Southern Eagles.

The game took place at J. I. Clements Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Bulls’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. at USF Baseball Stadium against FIU Golden Panthers.
