James Titah, Ph.D., will present the 26th annual Dr. Richard G. Kyle Faculty Lecture Tuesday, April 4, at 7 p.m. in the Franz Family Heritage Lobby of the Shari Flaming Center for the Arts.

Titah is an assistant professor of chemistry, finishing his third year at Tabor College. He will present “Routes Toward the Development of New Chemotherapeutic Compounds for Potential and Effective Drug Delivery from Amino Acids.” The event is open to the public.

“I have been doing amazing research with undergraduate students, and it’s my pleasure to showcase the research, how the students get involved and motivated, and some of our accomplishments,” Titah said. “I am excited because this presentation is special to me regarding my teaching and research experience at Tabor College. This is the work of God, and I am happy to be part of the Tabor family.”

Titah earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. He completed his M.S. and B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Buea in Cameroon.

Kyle gave the first lecture in the series in 1997. The series was named in his honor in 2004. The event was created to encourage scholarship and recognize the work of the Tabor faculty.
