If you have not yet heard, we’re developing a plan to guide our city’s growth, improvement, and character over the next 10 years: Activate Andover.
What is a comprehensive plan and why should it matter to me?
A comprehensive plan is a long-range planning document that guides the city’s future growth and development, its priorities, and its services. It is a road map that helps us visualize where we want to go as a city and how we get there. Your input in the comprehensive planning process is essential in determining the destination — the vision — for the City of Andover.
What are my next opportunities to engage with the project?
- Join the planning team at the second pop-up event on September 30 (THIS FRIDAY!) from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Greater Andover Days to share your preferences for future land use and transportation within Andover.
- Mark your calendar for the virtual public open house that will be available via www.activateandover.com from October 18 at 6:00 p.m. through October 31 at 11:59 p.m. You’ll be able to review draft concepts for community improvement and provide feedback in a convenient manner.
