The Santa Fe Trail Youth Trip Returns!
The Information Night for the 2023 Santa Fe Trail Youth Trip will be held September 15th, 8:00 PM at the Wamego Middle School Commons area, following the Wamego Middle School/Rock Creek volleyball games. Applications for the trip will be available at the meeting. This trip will be open to current 5th-8th grade students whose applications are accepted.
This ten-day educational camping trip following the Santa Fe Trail began in 1985 and has been held every other year, except in 2021, which was canceled due to COVID. Because of the canceled trip in 2021, the 2023 trip will be for current 5th-8th grade students.
After a brief description with PowerPoint of this trip and a time for Q & A, applications will be distributed. Come find out what this trip is all about!!!
