Of the 280 people living in Burns in 2020, 45.4 percent (127) were women and 54.6 percent (153) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the East Wichita Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 22. In the 65 and over age range, there were 21 females and eight males.
