The Kansas Mayors Association Conference and Leadership Summit will be offered April 14 and 15 in Hays, Kansas at the Hilton Garden Inn & Convention Center Hays.
The Kansas Mayors Association Conference and Leadership Summit will be offered April 14 and 15 in Hays, Kansas at the Hilton Garden Inn & Convention Center Hays.
Any elected or appointed official is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The keynote speaker for this event is Jackie Stiles, one of the most renowned basketball players in the history of the women's game. From her roots in Claflin, Kansas, she led the country in scoring. Then to Southwest Missouri State University, she rewrote the NCAA women's basketball record books en route to leading the Lady Bears to the 2001 Final Four. Finally to a professional career in the WNBA, Jackie has inspired and impacted millions. Jackie will share Leadership stories about her journey through professional basketball, and a message about becoming the best version of yourself.
A tentative schedule of events is listed below. Friday's sessions will begin with the Kansas Mayors Association portion at 1:30 p.m., and also include a general session for all attendees featuring Jackie Stiles. Saturday's sessions will conclude no later than 2:30 p.m. We hope you will join us for this event.
